Portfolio Project: HopeWorks

HopeWorks is a fictitious non-profit organization providing education and healthcare services to underprivileged Caribbean women. As the organization grew, they needed a solution to better manage their programs, resources, and volunteers. My goal was to design a comprehensive Notion workspace to enhance their operations and maximize their impact.

I built this workspace in 24 hours as part of NoCode Weekend’s Notion Block Party in February 2023. It was the first time that I participated in a challenge like this and can’t begin to describe how much fun I had building this workspace in such a short period of time!

Project Scope

• Programs and Services page outlining the various education and healthcare programs offered by HopeWorks.

• Resource Management page that tracks the availability and allocation of resources, including funding, staff, equipment, and supplies.

• Volunteer Management page that tracks the recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers, as well as their skills and experience.

• Donor Management page that tracks donations and donor communications, including templates for thank-you notes and donor reports.

• Event Management page that outlines the various fundraising and outreach events hosted by HopeWorks, including event descriptions, schedules, and volunteer needs.

• Outreach and Marketing page that outlines the organization's marketing and outreach strategy, including social media plans, email marketing, and outreach to potential donors and partners.

• Inventory Management page that tracks the availability and allocation of supplies and equipment, including templates for inventory reports and requisition forms.

• Grant Management page that tracks grant opportunities, applications, and reporting requirements, as well as templates for grant proposals and reports.

• Knowledge Base page that provides resources and best practices for the various programs and services offered by HopeWorks, as well as templates for training and orientation materials.

• Impact Assessment page that tracks the impact of HopeWorks' programs and services on the communities they serve, including templates for impact reports and case studies.
